Ajith Kumar Films Two Productions at Pixljaya's Cyberjaya LED Studio

Tamil cinema star Ajith Kumar has completed two productions at Pixljaya's LED studio in Cyberjaya: a commercial for Campa Energy Drink and, on a return visit, a spot for Nova Life Space. The back-to-back shoots mark one of the highest-profile international engagements to date at the Malaysian virtual production facility, located inside Multimedia University (MMU).

The productions were brought to Cyberjaya by an international crew drawn from India's virtual production sector, one of the largest and fastest-growing in the world. According to Pixljaya, the team selected the studio for its international-grade LED volume, camera tracking precision, and in-camera visual fidelity, allowing both shoots to be captured without green screen and with substantially reduced post-production work.

Shooting on the LED stage, the studio said, delivered true-to-life reflections on talent, props, and set pieces, camera tracking that held depth and parallax through movement, and cinematic colour accuracy straight out of camera. The setup is driven by an Unreal Engine real-time pipeline.

Adding to the scale of the production, a real race car was brought directly from the track and featured on stage, blending an authentic motorsport presence with the virtual environments to create a dynamic cinematic result.

During the productions, Pixljaya hosted the Qube Cinema team, veterans in cinema technology and digital projection, who reviewed the facility, LED volume, and real-time pipeline. The studio reported that their assessment was strongly positive, a notable endorsement given Qube's standing in the industry.

The engagement underlines a broader shift: international productions can now access global-standard virtual production infrastructure in Malaysia, shooting photorealistic 3D environments under one roof and eliminating location scouting, travel, and the lighting overhead of traditional sets.
