When Malaysia's Soimjenn (Jenn Chia) and Singapore's Annette Lee joined forces for "Better Than Yours (The Bak Kut Teh Song)", they were doing more than dropping a single. The track anchors the marketing push for Annette's directorial film debut, Dream Stall. Directed by Derrik Yaw of Graph Studio and co-produced by Pixljaya, the video paired top-tier regional talent with real-time studio technology.

Camera moves that green screen can't hold

Dynamic music videos live on energetic, complex camera work. Traditional green screens tend to fall apart the moment a camera tilts, rolls, or tracks fast, leaving flat lighting, motion blur artefacts, and expensive cleanup.

• Real-time parallax tracking. Syncing the physical camera with Unreal Engine environments meant the background perspective shifted instantly in true 3D space as the camera moved.
• In-camera visual effects (ICVFX). Light from the LED wall bounced off cast, costumes, and props, killing the fake-looking spill you get from green screen.
• Seamless dynamic shots. Derrik Yaw and the Graph Studio crew executed bold, high-speed moves while the virtual environment stayed locked in scale and depth.

Running Unreal Engine straight into the LED wall workflow delivered a high-budget cinematic finish on a tight schedule.
